System Technician Core – Expert

Location: Netherlands

As a System Technician Core – Expert, you will be responsible for the assembly, integration, testing and inspection of high-tech products, modules and systems. Depending on your level of experience and technical expertise, you will work on standard assemblies as well as increasingly complex systems and machines.

You will work in a high-tech manufacturing environment where quality, accuracy and continuous improvement are key. You will use your technical knowledge to build products according to specifications, identify and resolve technical issues, and contribute to improving manufacturing processes and product quality.

Your Role

Depending on your experience and level of expertise, your responsibilities may include:

• Assembling products, modules, subsystems and complete systems according to technical documentation and work instructions.
• Using hand tools, power screwdrivers, torque wrenches and other production equipment.
• Applying torque specifications and ensuring correct assembly quality.
• Routing and bundling cables and wire harnesses.
• Working with PCBAs and other technical components.
• Performing testing, inspection and functional checks.
• Identifying, analysing and resolving technical deviations and quality issues.
• Performing troubleshooting and root-cause analysis on complex assemblies and systems.
• Supporting colleagues with technical questions and challenges.
• Supporting the introduction of new products, engineering changes and manufacturing processes.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity and manufacturability.
• Working according to 5S, ESD, quality and process control principles.
• Taking ownership of technical content and ensuring a high standard of workmanship.

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on technician who enjoys working with technology and solving technical challenges. You are accurate, quality-driven and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

You bring

• A proactive, hands-on attitude and a willingness to learn and continuously develop.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and take responsibility for your work.
• Experience in a technical production or high-tech manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Experience with assembly, system integration, testing, inspection or troubleshooting is preferred.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools and torque-controlled assembly.
• Knowledge of technical documentation and assembly processes.
• Knowledge of 5S and ESD principles.

Depending on your level of expertise

• Core / JG3  MBO Level 2/3 in a technical field or equivalent relevant work experience
• Specialist / JG4  MBO Level 3/4 in a technical field at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Expert / JG5  MBO Level 2/3/4 in a technical field, 2 years of experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
